Decompress Vacation started around 1:30

Decompress

Vacation started around 1:30 yesterday. For those of us in this type of job it takes some time to actually decompress from the intensity we experience daily. Jeff and I both received s few work calls at the start of the road trip. At one point we were both in our phones at the same time. (Sad and comical ). But finally we were able to put work aside and start to unwind

Listening to a random selection of our favorite songs and the opportunity to just talk about everything and nothing was wonderful.

We had the kids on the road in the car behind us and the adventure began

We had snapchat Karaoke battles , p breaks , snack stops and a dinner break at five guys in Lincoln. ������

Roxy got car sick so we had a quick pit stop for cleanup. A million thanks to hottie husband for taking care of that

We found the hotel and it turns out it was the wrong location 8 miles away from our original reservations - same hotel name. - two locations. But something led me to feel we should just stay here. So after a few phone calls we were ready to check in ! Some times things are no accident best to go with intuition

A quick trip to Dairy Queen and back to the rooms to crash out for the night.
