What a wonderful (too short) trip to Colorado. We spent our time at the lake with family unplugged and it was wonderful.

I tried a few mornings to go down to the dock and meditate however Roxy had other plans... She was a fish and loved the water. So maybe playing with her was a new form of meditation. It worked. I though of nothing else while I was tossing the ball and branch into the lake and watching her jump in and swim

We spent some quality time with family and friends and it was food for the soul.

Being at the lake without a care in the world - away from the stresses of work and the business of life was absolutely wonderful

We took a drive to Estes Park on Monday. What a fun place.

Saw the Stanley Hotel {aka the Overlook hotel from the shining. We opted to not take the tour this time around but I plan to on our next visit for sure. When I feel more grounded spiritually. Apparently it's one of the most haunted hotels in the US.

More on our visit and the experiences in town in the next blog update. It will give you goosebumps.
